Last Will and Testament of

 

Amelia Ann Stokes-Appleby

widow of David Clinton Appleby

 

In the name of God, Amen.

I, Amelia Ann Appleby, Being of Sound mind and memory,  do make and constitute this my last will and

testament.

1st   I will that my Executors provide and pay all my burial expenses.

2nd  I will that all my just debts be paid.

3rd  I give and bequeath to the heirs of my Daughter, Mary E. May one dollar to be equally divided among

them.

4th  I give and bequeath to my sons William P,   David C, & Peter R. Appleby and my daughters Sarah 

O. Stokes, Lucy L. Utesey, Julia A. Heaton, and Georgianna J. Durr one dollar each.

5.  I give and bequeath to my son James W. Appleby one cow and calf and one bedstead bed & furniture

which now stands in Shed room of lower story.

6.  I give and bequeath to my daughter Estelle A. Appleby one cow and calf and one bedstead bed and

furniture which now stands in my room.  The smallest of the two which stands in said room.

7.  I give and bequeath the residue of my Estate to my two sons Morgan G. & Adella Torry Appleby to

be equally divided between them, and I further direct that the same be kept under the controll of my

Executors, To be used for their support untill they both become of age.

Lastly, I do constitute and appoint my Two Sons David C. & James W. Appleby my lawful Executors.
