"Millstone, circa 1850, from Appleby Mill, located in Polk County on Little Sac River between Morrisville and Eudora, near present day 215 bridge.  Placed by R. E. Anderson"

The millstone was placed in Dunnegan Park, Bolivar, Polk County, Missouri, in the fall of 2005. Presented 

by R. E. Anderson, a descendent of James Appleby and his second wife, Nancy (Lane-Bond) Appleby.  James, being the eldest son of John Appleby and Sarah  (Bell) Appleby.
