David Nels Appleby has been selected by The Knight's Templar to serve as the United States Grand Prior. Appleby Heritage extends sincere congratulations to David Nels Appleby for this honor, recently, bestowed upon him. An attorney in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri, David was born 18th April 1948, to Sam and Anne (Anderson) Appleby. He is married to Janet Diane (Stafford) Appleby. They are the parents of two children, Amy and Adam, and several grandchildren. From the 1830's, the family's history has been entwined with the history of Southwest Missouri. David has an outstanding website for his own law practice, along with his other interests. He is actively involved with various organizations and projects, receiving commendations for his many contributions and dedicated service. As his parents before him, David is a good friend to Appleby Heritage and we appreciate his sharing his interest in Appleby history. An Appleby family salute to David Nels Appleby in receiving this special honor as the United States Grand Prior of the Knight's Templer.
