   Eric's connection to the Appleby Family is through his great-grandmother,

Alta Appleby-Selbie,  daughter of Edward William Appleby and Lillie Belle

Hall-Appleby.  His maternal grandparents are Frederic Donald Selbie and

Joyce Pierson-Selbie.   

   Eric Barger, son of  Dorrie O'Brien,  born 17 November 1970 in Englewood, 

Colorado.  Eric has one brother, Lance Barger.

  Specialist Barger only recently began his tour of duty,  and we wish for him a

safe and successful mission.

  United States Army Reserves PFC Eric Barger, son of Dorrie O'Brien, stationed at Fort Duerhing, Kuwait, with the 844th Engineering Battalion, support troops for the fighting unit in Iraq.  

   He and his Unit will be taking a "side trip to Egypt in August to help restore the U.S. Base Brite Star.

2005
