Oma Appleby

Oma Mae Appleby, daughter of Emmett Edwin Appleby and Ethel (Farmer) Appleby. Her father, Emmett, was born 29 December 1874, and her mother, Ethel was born 2 September 1875, both born in Greene County, Missouri. Emmett and Ethel were married 15 April 1901 in Greene County, and divorced 15 May 1903.

Oma Mae Appleby was born in September 1902, Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. She was her parents only child.

Oma married Bill Salley, 5th August 1921. They were the parents of five Salley children; Wilma Lee, Eileen Marie, DeLois Jean, Robert William, and Naomi Ruth.

Bill died August 1985 and Oma August 1993, both in Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas.
